Commercial Construction Controller

CP Rankin is a well-established National Roofing Contractor with a history of long-lasting customer relations and outstanding customer service. 

We are currently seeking a take charge Construction Controller Manager, who is eager to be part of our growing team, learn and grow within the organization.

General Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to

  • Accounts Receivable

1) Monthly send out all AR Service Statements

2) Run the Weekly Production AR Meeting

3) Send Weekly Cash Collected, Forecasted AR with comments and O/s Service

4) Weekly send out the Service AR Aging to all Account Managers(Follow up and track weekly comments)

5) Post Cash when needed

6) Post Billings every Monday

7) Post Credit Card payments when needed

8) Created reconciliation between Data Forma and Foundations Accounts Payable

1) Review weekly the AP Report for terms and Past due. Track weekly the amount of AP that is

Past due, due within a week, or two, and current

2) Post AP Invoices when needed

Balance Sheet

1) Ensure all accounts on a monthly basis are current and are reconciled

2) Bank Reconciliations

3) Monitored monthly the Prepaid and Deposit Account

4) Run and Reconcile the monthly Fixed Asset Depreciation

5) Reconcile monthly the dental/medical/Insurance statements to Foundations

6) Reconcile monthly the NJ, NY, and Mississippi tax accounts

7) Reconcile and monitor Workers Compensation Account

8) Reconciled the accrued liabilities mainly payroll accrual and WIP report

Payroll

HR Respnsibilities

1) Full review of payroll for weekly and bi weekly employees. Run weekly comparison of employees week to week changes in payroll for reasonableness

2) Created OT Report by Employee, by Job, both hours and $

3) Post New Hire information into foundations when needed

4) Verify Payroll

5) Perform the Weekly Payroll accrual, and sometimes the bi weekly accrual

6) Send out to IRS Annual 1094/1095

Financial Reporting

1) Created a PPT Financial Package to highlight Sales and Profit by Location and Division

(Also included in the financial package, statement of Cash-Flow, top customers, quarterly P&L Comparisons

2) Provide Financials when needed to auditors, banks, vendors, leasing companies upon request

Reports

1) Update and Monitor the Service WIP Weekly

2) Provide Monthly Back Log and Production and Service Sales

3) Provide Monthly T&M Sales for Florida and the South

4) Provide Monthly Service Sales and Gross Profit

5) After WIP Review (Close Jobs and send Inactive Report)

6) Special requests as Needed

Audits

1) Yearly Workers Compensation Audit

2) Semi Annual and Annual Audit with Accountants

3) Yearly General Liability Audit

State and Local Tax Requests

1) We receive many of these requests throughout the year.
